What should I do in case of suspicion that the battery in the pack is defective?

----------------------------------------------------------

Before we will start suspect the cell from being defective, please check following:

1) Please verify if this is not just the weakest cell in the pack. It might be possible that this cell is about 40Ah capacity and all others are 45 Ah, which might be misleading.
2) If you can charge the single cell in suspicion, please do so in first place. Your target is to charge the cell to the same level as the others.
3) It might be worth trying to switch balancing module from another cell and watch the system carefully for next few cycles. If your BMS does not support such an option, just switch the cell position with another cell.

If you can give us any logs from BMS, graphs or anything, please send it to us. We need data about at least few charging and discharging cycles of each individual cells to evaluate the cells health. Without appropriate monitoring and logging it is impossible to judge if the cell is defective or not. Our technicians can help you evaluate the data, please contact technical support.

If the situation will repeat again even with the same cell, please let us know. Please take note that all batteries are professionally tested at the factory before the delivery. That is why the chance of a battery problem is less than 1 in 5000 pcs.
