Do the lithium iron (LiFePO4) and/or lithium yttrium iron (LiFeYPO4) batteries leak the electrolyte?

The LFP/LFYP batteries do not leak. The vent on the batteries is designed to release the presure of the possible gasses in case some kind of a battery accident would occur.  Such an accient may include: serious overcharge, short circuit connetion, mechanical damage to the battery.
