The really HUGE LFP pack

This is the photo of the initial charging and testing of the LFP battery pack.

We are now working on the new modification of the VW Golf CityStromer.  Here is the technical review of the project:

Original battery:VARTA 83201 batteries - 16 pcs. Nominal 6V 240Ah, real capacity 6V 115Ah (at 150A), weight 32 kg each. Total weight of 16 pcs = 512 kg.  This is the best VARTA technology: 512 kg of toxic lead and deadly acid makes 11kWh of real energy.

New battery: Thunder-Sky Lithium-Yttrium 12V80Ah batteries - 24 pcs. Each 3 pcs of the  80Ah batteries make one 12V 240Ah pack. Each battery weights 11.7 kg. Total weight of 24 pcs = 280 kg. This is the best lithium technology: 280 kg of non-toxic, non aggressive batteries makes for 23kWh of real energy.

We hope to reach 250 km of driving distance per single charge!  We keep you updated here!
